Who wants a Dice Tray Illustrated by Mark Riddick?
6 months ago – Thu, Apr 02, 2026 at 01:11:22 PM

We’re closing in.

At $250K, we unlock the Druskara Dice Tray.

The dice tray will be available as an add-on, and it will be included for free in the Ultimate Collection ($359). So if you had your eyes on this tier already, this makes it even more valuable!

It will be a fully original piece by Mark Riddick -- design above is placeholder to give you an idea of how the artwork will cover the entire tray. You’ve seen Mark's work on the GM Screen and slipcase, so you know the incredible quality he provides:

The tray itself will feature magnetic connectors or metal snaps and full-surface printed artwork! Final Designs pending.

NEXT UP! Those METAL DICE. But let's get that dice tray secured first...

Coming up tomorrow, the Dungeon Damsel duo, Xane and Bunni, have been invited to appear on Exalted Funeral's Coffee and Coffins live podcast at noon on Thursday, April 2!

We hope to see you there! Click HERE to find the YouTube Stream!

Something you should ALSO be aware of is that these amazing hosts are also the creators of TAVERS: The Meow Wolf Roleplaying game which is live on Kickstarter right meow! It ends VERY SOON (tomorrow!), so if you want to back this portal-hopping, mystery-solving TTRPG, then you'd better get on it! Click HERE to see their Kickstarter page!

Players assume the role of TAVERS, interdimensional travelers who use Source (the fountain of creative energy) to open portals between worlds and wield wild powers that rewrite the rules of reality itself.

It looks beautiful and it sounds incredibly fun!

See you tomorrow!

This Armor Is Forbidden (new artwork!)
6 months ago – Tue, Mar 31, 2026 at 10:34:19 AM

Greetings Druskarans!

We met artist Phil Stone at Gary Con, and the second we saw his work, we knew we had to bring him in to help finish Druskara!

Now that the campaign is funded (and then some -- thanks to you!!), we’re easing back into production mode and ramping art again.

Please feast your eyes on the first new piece since the Backerkit campaign began!

We feel that Phil has perfectly represented the truly mirror-glass surface of the Shining Knight's special armor in a pure black-and-white format, which isn't easy to accomplish!

The Shining Knights are the chosen enforcers of the Shining City, clad in mirror-bright armor that gleams with an unnatural clarity. Their weapons and plate are forged from shining steel, a rare and tightly controlled metal forbidden beyond the city’s rule. Possession alone is enough to draw severe punishment.

None earn the title of Shining Knight lightly; only those who endure years of relentless training and rise through the highest ranks are permitted to bear the name.  They are also trained in a specialized arcane discipline built for combat tactics, allowing them to reshape the battlefield while fortifying and rallying their allies.

To stand as a Shining Knight is to uphold a vision of moral purity, obedience to the queen, and authority over the kingdom.

Wanna be lazy? Run Druskara.
6 months ago – Mon, Mar 30, 2026 at 01:47:38 PM

When we tell people that the books amount to around 1000 pages, they sometimes say, "Uh oh, I don't have time to read all that!"

But you don't have to. That's the entire idea. We sometimes compare the Druskara books to a Choose Your Own Adventure. You pick a starting location for your party. You read a few pages and then they can jump in. When they move on to the next chamber or the next shop in the town, you turn to that page and continue to run the adventure.

You can literally explore Druskara as your players do. And then, if you feel inspired to read more, it's all there.

The goal with Druskara was to be complete. Not just offer a setting where you still have to fill everything in. It's full enough that you wouldn't have to create anything if you didn't want to. Use the NPCs provided -- their goals, motivations, and stat blocks are ready to run. The 24+ dungeons are mapped, detailed, and written in the concise, yet thorough Shadowdark ethos. Magic items, monsters, events, quests and carousing charts are provided.

And yet, all of that said, there is plenty of room to create within Druskara. You can add your own dungeons, cities, NPCs, events, and landscapes!

DRUSKARA AWAITS!

Which Druskara tier is right for you?
6 months ago – Sun, Mar 29, 2026 at 09:16:34 AM

If you’ve been watching the campaign and waiting to jump in, this is the simplest way to decide.

Want the full campaign in a complete digital package?
Go Essentials PDF ($89) — all four core books plus maps, guides, GM tools, and city cards, fully bookmarked and ready to use.  This is the simplest way to run Druskara with everything at your fingertips.

Want the Druskara experience in your hands?
Go Core Set ($149) — the complete four-book campaign in a slipcase, built to run the game physically with zero fluff.  This is the clean, no-regret entry if you know you want the books.

Want the full and complete Druskara experience, tools included?
Go Essential Edition ($249) — the full four-book campaign plus every tool and accessory we’ve made to support it. Nothing missing. Some pieces (city cards, cloth map, logbook) will not be available after the campaign.

Want the version you’ll never need to upgrade from?
Go Ultimate Collection ($359) — both editions, every tool, every accessory, every token. Nothing held back.
This is the all-in version that won’t exist like this again.

Just 9 days left...  Pick your path and lock it in!
